A song for Christmas that connects lyrics from classic Christmas songs to a mature understanding of the profound nature of Christ's birth.

I wrote this song in a tiny house in Benton, KS in late 2006. As Christmas approached, I found that I was coming to a new understanding of Christ’s birth and it was the many seasonal songs of faith that helped me process what I was experiencing. Those songs were seeds planted in me throughout my childhood that came into fruition years later. Looking back, that experience has taught me a lot about the role songs play in the lives of our church family, especially the youngest among us.
